I have spoken before about my recipe cards. I’ve provided a link below where you can download and/or print a PDF of all of the slow cooker recipes I use.
The numbers at the top indicate how many family meals (2 adults – and a picky toddler!) these quantities will make.
I use the cards either directly to bring to the shop as my list, or I combine them into a shopping list of 5 or 6 cards for my monthly shop. I have actually printed and laminated them so that I can use them as a shopping list with a wipe able pen at the shop, and also as a recipe cards at home.
When I am batch prepping I literally just split the raw, chopped ingredients between 2 or 3 bags or boxes and pop them into the freezer.
I used to defrost in the fridge the day before, but more recently I have been putting them into the slowcooker frozen first thing in the morning. This means they are cooking for around 10 hours.
During the day I will give them the occasional stir. If it looks a bit dry add in some water, if it’s looking a bit watery leave the lid slightly open.
I really hope these help some people!
Comment below to let me know if you’ve tried any of them.
